Shadows in Socialization
c

"Shadows in Social Interaction" delves into the interplay of repetition, reality, and authenticity, examining the lasting impact of bullying, particularly its role in shaping social anxiety. Reflecting on early childhood bullying experiences, this work transforms past emotional pain into a cycle of personal and collective memory. Through photos, poetry, and diary entries—each echoing fragments of persistent trauma—it symbolizes how the effects of bullying accumulate over time. Surrounding images of ears and mouths represent the apathy of bystanders, highlighting how silent indifference contributes to this cycle. This piece not only exposes the harsh reality of bullying but also calls for societal recognition and action to break this recurring pattern.
