FUTURE PAST
In 2023, Beijing 751 International Design Week focused on the theme of “Heritage and Return,” aiming to bridge traditional values with contemporary design. As the lead designer in collaboration with InProcess Studio, I crafted the key visual to symbolize these dual concepts, creating an impactful design that resonates across global audiences.The inspiration for this design was gravity, chosen to represent stability and the enduring pull of heritage. Using large blocks of blue, gray, and pink, the visual elements overlap and interconnect, evoking a sense of gravitational pull that unifies the composition. This choice of colors and layered graphics embodies the idea of “return” and “inheritance,” balancing the visual appeal with thematic depth.
